What is a DUI Tracking System?

When a person takes the breath test they are asked where they consumed their last drink. The police officer puts a code into the breathalyzer that identifies the location. Information from the breathalyzer is collected by the Washington State Patrol and forwarded to the Washington State Liquor Control Board (WSLCB). No violations are generated off the DUI statistics alone. The WSLCB considers the statistics as indicators that there might be adjustments that could be made to eliminate potential problems in the establishment, neighborhood or the region.
